The image depicts three archival objects donated by the Anderson family. The first is a newspaper clipping from a Newspaper in Scotland (unknown) which states: "'The Amateur Golf Champion' (also featuring a caricature drawing of Peter corsair Anderson). This is a portrait of Mr Peter C. Anderson, M. A. of St Andrews University. who yesterday, after a grand match defeated Mr. J. E. laid lay for the championship. He is the son of Reverend D R Anderson, Andrews where he learned the game. he is twenty one years of age and have taken the degree M. A., is now studying for ministry. He is tall and lithe in figure, and is not only a crack golfer but and excellent all round athlete".
