The 1955 photograph was taken by Geoffrey McMullen OSC1956, featuring student Don Nairn OSC1955 in full costume and makeup. Students were performing in Scotch College's Dramatic Society Play.
The photograph is part of a series of photographs taken by Geoffrey McMullen OSC1956. The Archive is extremely fortunate in receiving Geoffrey's remarkable collection of nostalgic photographs taken throughout the mid 1950s. The donation comprises of images of Headmaster Peter Corsar Anderson, Interschool swimming competitions held at the Crawley Baths, Public Schools Association sporting events - including Head of the River looking towards South Perth and images of the Boatshed at Freshwater Bay, Peppermint Grove.
