A photograph of the 1914 P. S. A. Head of the River Eight VIII Rowing Crew finishing line. The photograph is taken from the top of Kings Park looking down at the Swan River near the finishing line which currently sits at the Narrows Bridge site over the Swan.
A platform is visible in the middle of the River - hosting adjudicators and boats which have completed races. Large crowds witnessing the race can be seen in the foreground and also in boats near the South Perth river foreshore.
Condition: Poor, photograph is glued to acidic board.
