The photograph depicts a scene from the 1955 Scotch College Fete which feature Teacher Mr Jenkinson aiming Athletics Gun at one of the Fete stalls. The Fete was located at the Top Oval on Shenton Road, Swanbourne. Scotch College students can be seen in the photograph as well as a member of the Pipe Band.
The picture was taken by Geoffrey McMullen OSC1956 during his schooling at the College in the 1950's.
Geoff's donation comprises of photographs taken during his time at school, including pictures of Headmaster PC Anderson out the front of his home in Congdon Street Claremont in 1954, 1955 Interschool Swimming competition at the Crawley Baths, 1956 P.S.A. Head of the River looking out to the South Perth foreshore and the 1956 christening of the P. C. Anderson Rowing Boat at the Boatshed, Freshwater Bay Western Australia.
