A photograph depicting the strength end of the P. C. Anderson Rowing boat which swam free and broke during a training row for the 1955 Second Eight VIII crew. The P. C. Anderson boat was later rebuilt.
The reverse of the photograph states: (left to right) Michael Oxer, Geoff Hodgson, Ross Haig, Barry Gardner.
It states that the photograph was donated by Colin Black on the 25th of September 1990.
It also states "Stern end of the 'PC Anderson' which swamped and broken ordinary training row in 1955 (Second Eight VIII). Later re-built".
