9.3.2 Clan, Assembly notes
A letter to the Official Secretary of Government House (Governor Douglas Kendrew) from the Principal (Headmaster) of Scotch College Mr Maxwell Keys dated the 120th of September 1965.
The letter states: "20th September 1965
The Official Secretary,
Government House
Perth.
Dear Sir,
Would you please convey to His Excellency The Governor and to Lady Kendrew our grateful thanks for being present at our March Out Parade yesterday, and to His Excellency for being the Reviewing Officer. Their presence gave the function and added importance and the remarks of His Excellency to the boys have made a real impression.
It is generally agreed that this is the best March Out we have ever had, and we are grateful to our two distinguished guests for playing a major part in this.
Yours Sincerely
MK Principal"
